Mr. Humak has been involved in the motion picture industry for over 30 years and is considered one of its leading strategic thinkers. He is currently President & CEO of Pegasus Elite Corporation, a strategic advisory firm serving major entertainment companies.
His acquisition of "The Last Emperor" garnered the Academy Award for Best Picture (1987).
Previously at Orion Pictures as Sr. Vice-President, he grew the Western Theatrical division from $60M to $90M, launched the release strategy for "Platoon" (Best Picture, 1986), and was responsible for distribution of four other Oscar Best Picture winners: "Amadeus" (1984), "Silence of the Lambs" (1991), "Dances with Wolves" (1990), and "Gandhi" (1982). He also participated in acquiring the original rights to "The Terminator."
Mr. Humak holds an MBA in Finance and International Business from Rutgers University and Cambridge University, England.
